Chapter Three

   The Speaciality of Prophet  صَ^ىلَّ الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَ ^ىلم in terms The Wonders of The World  

Amazed

1. Imam Bazzaar (d.292 AH) رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه narrates a Hadith that is Marfu’¹ from Sayyiduna Abu Dhar رَ ^ِضَِ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه that; “The treasure that Allah ( عَزَّوَجَلَّ) has mentioned in His Book is a tablet of gold on which is written:

“‘Allah’s Name I begin with, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, I am amazed at the person who has certainty in destiny but is striving. I am amazed at the person who remembers the fire of Hell yet laughs and I am amazed at the person who remembers death and is still heedless. ى                       ى There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.”. ( صَلَّ الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلم)   Similar to the above is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Umar رَضَِِ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه and Sayyiduna ‘Ali رَضَِِ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه as was extracted by Imam Baihaqi (d. 458 AH) رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه. Imam Al-Kharaaiti (d. 327 AH)  رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه extracted it from Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Abbas رَضَِِ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُمَا in the book entitled, ‘Qam’ Al-Hirs.’  

Ring of Prophet Sulayman  عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلََم

2. Imam Tabarani (d. 360 AH) رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه narrates from Sayyiduna ‘Ubaadah Ibn al-Saamit

رَ ^ِضَِ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه who stated that: “The Messenger of Allah صَ^ىلَّ الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَ^ىلم said, ‘The stone of the ring belonging to Sayyiduna Sulayman, son of (Sayyiduna) Dawood (عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلََم), was from the sky which was given to him. He placed the stone in his ring. The following words were engraved on it:  

 أَنَا اللهُ لََ إِلَهَ إِلََّ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَبْدِيْ وَرَسُوْلِِ

  “I am Allah, there is no deity but I, Muhammad is My Bondsman and Messenger.’” ى                       ى (صَلَّ الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلم)  

3. Imam ‘Uqayli (d. 322 AH) رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه in ‘Al-Du’afaa’ and Imam Ibn ‘Adi (d. 365 AH) رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه

narrates from Sayyiduna Jabir Ibn ‘Abdullah رَ ^ِضَِ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه that the Messenger of Allah ى                                                                                                                                        ى صَلَّ الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلم said: “The inscription on the ring of Sayyiduna Sulayman, son of Sayyiduna :was عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلََم Dawood  

 لََ إِلَهَ إِلََّ اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ الله

ى                       ى ‘There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.’ ( صَلَّ الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلم)     ¹ Al-Marfu’ is called such a narration the chain of which reaches the Messenger of Allah                              ى   ى .صَلَّ الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلم   19 Chapter Three Al-Khasais al-Kubra Fi Mu’jizate Khair-ul-Wara   Wonders of the world

4. Imam Ibn ‘Asaakir (d. 571 AH) رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه and Imam Ibn Najjaar (d. 643 AH) رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه in their History (Taareekh) narrate from Abul Hasan Ali Ibn ‘Abdullah Hashmi that: “I entered the cities of India and I saw a black rose tree in a village, which was blossoming from a big rose that has a beautiful fragrance. It was black and it was written in white letters on it:

  لََ إِلَهَ إِلََّ اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللهِ أَبُوْ بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيْقُ عُمَرُالْفَارُوْق

ى                       ى ‘’There is no deity except Allah ( عَزَّوَجَلَّ) Muhammad (صَلَّ الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلم) is the Messenger of Allah, ”.(رَضَِِ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه) Umar is Al-Farooq‘ ,(رَضَِِ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه) Abu Bakr is Siddeeq‘   I was doubtful in this regard that the flower may be artificial. So, I approached a rose which was not open and I opened it. I saw in it exactly what I saw in all the roses. There were plenty of these in that area but the residents worshipped stones and didn’t even know about Allah ( عَزَّوَجَلَّ).”     ى                         ى   20 Chapter Three Al-Khasais al-Kubra Fi Mu’jizate Khair-ul-War
