Words of Kufr in regards to the hereafter

Important Note:

There are different words that are used in this text such as ‘Takfeer’ which means it is without any doubt what-so-ever clear Kufr and one will be out of the folds of Islam.

The term ‘is a Kafir,’ ‘will be Kufr,’ ‘are words/statement of Kufr’ and ‘is Kufr’ are similar, however, depending on the (Urf) custom of the time or environment in the community it could have different meaning, hence, the Fatwa of Kufr will not be given. This can only be done by a qualified Mufti.

These statements are real examples of Kufr that have been said by people from the time of the great jurists over 1000 years ago till today and not made up. All the references have been provided from books of these great jurist.

1. Whoso denies the accounting of the Day of Judgement, the Scales (Mizaan), the Bridge (Pul Siraat), Paradise, Hell is a Kafir. i However, to deny the real weightier weighting scales, pul siraat and accounting there is a dispute over their Kufr. ii

2. Whoso said, I don’t know what the day of judgement is! This is Kufr when it is said with rejection. iii

3. To reject rising after death is Kufr. iv

4. It is said to the one who is oppressed, that where will you find me on the day of judgement in the crowd, this statement is Kufr. v

5. If someone believes that the occurrence of the day of judgement is impossible this is Kufr. vi

6. It is said, “If you would leave the (love of the) world, you will get the hereafter” the other said, “I do not leave money, for credit,” this statement is Kufr. vii

7. Whoso says give me more today, I will return it all on the day of judgement, upon this there is the rule of Kufr as the appearance of the statement is to reject the day of judgment or rejected the fear of punishment or rejected giving of reward for the goods on the day of judgement. viii

8. Whoso says give me wheat I will give you barley on the day of judgement; this statement is Kufr as such a person joked about the Day of Judgment. ix

9. If one says to a creditor give me 10 more and take 20 of me on the day of judgement, this statement is Kufr. x

10. Whoso said, “What have I to do with the hereafter (Mahshar)” or “I do not fear the hereafter” or “I do not fear the Day of Judgment,” all these are statements of Kufr. xi

11. Whoso said, doesn’t matter whatever is in the hereafter, in this world there should be Chapati, this statement is Kufr. xii

12. If an ill person said “O Allah! If you wish to take me away, do so, as a Muslim or a Kafir,” this statement is Kufr. xiii

13. It is said that, do not commit sin as Allah (The Exalted) will put you in Hell, the other said, I do not fear Hell, are words of Kufr. xiv

14. To believe that after death the soul will enter another body (reincarnation) be it human or animal, is rejected and to believe in it is Kufr. xv

15. Whoso believes that the soul comes to an end is misguided. xvi

16. One who rejects accounting on the day of judgement is a Kafir. xvii

17. Paradise and Hell are reality, the rejector is a Kafir. xviii

18. The Day of judgment, rising from the dead, hereafter, accounting, reward, punishment, hell all have the same meaning that are commonly used by Muslims, whoso believes these as the truth but take out new meaning are Kafir. xix

19. Whoso says I don’t know if a Kafir will enter paradise or hell or says I do not know the destination of a Kafir, the rule of Kufr will apply. xx

20. One who denies seeing Allah (The Exalted) after entering paradise is a Kafir. xxi

21. I am disgusted of the reward and punishment, the rule of Kufr will apply. xxii To reject it is also Kufr. xxiii

22. If it is said, if on the day of judgement, you don’t give anything to Rizwan-e-Jannat (door keeper of paradise) he will not open the doors, this statement is Kufr. xxiv

23. If someone said, it is good if we go to the Hell fire as there will be film actors there, is Kufr.

24. If someone said, if we go to the Hell fire and if when it is cold the people of paradise come to get fire we will not give it, are words of Kufr.

25. If someone objects to the wisdom of the day of judgement, accounting and punishment, such a person is a Kafir.
