The Ahlul-Bait have formed a historical movement and impulsive force in the history of Islam and caused great social changes.
The most staunch, consistent defenders of Deen al-Islam, preservers of the Sunnah of Nabi Muhammad (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), guardians of Ahle-Sunnah, and propagators of Haqq were the Saliheen from amongst the descendants of the Messenger of Allah, known as the Ahle-Bayt.
Sayyyida A’isha narrates that the Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) went out one morning wearing a striped cloak of the black camel’s hair that there came Imam Hasan (the son of Sayyida Fatima and Sayyidina ‘Ali). He wrapped him under it, then came Imam Husain and he wrapped him under it along with the other one (Imam Hasan). Then came Sayyida Fatima and he took her under it, then came Sayyidina ‘Ali and he also took him under it and then said: “Allah (The Exalted) only desires to take away any uncleanliness from you, O people of the household, and purify you (thorough purifying)”3
The specialty of the righteous descendents of Ameerul-Mu’mineen Sayidina Ali al-Murtuda and Sayyida Tayaba Tahira Fatimah al-Zahra is the true path, thus the absolute footsteps of the Messenger of Allah; examples in history include such illuminated souls like that of Imam Hasan, Imam Husain, Imam Zain-ul-Abideen, Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir, Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq, Imam Musa ibn Ja’far al-Kazim, Imam Ali ibn Musa ar-Rida, Imam Muhammad ibn Ali al-Jawad, Imam Ali ibn Muhammad al-Naqi, Imam Hasan ibn Ali al-Askari, Imam Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, Sultanul-Awliya al-Ghawth al-A’zam Sheikh Sayyid Abdul-Qadir Jilani, Sultanul-Hind Khawja Ghareeb Nawaz Moeenudeen Chishti Ajmeri, Imam Abdullah al-Haddad, Imam Mashur Haddad, Imam al-Mahdi and the list of such Awliya-Allah goes on.
This is worth mentioning to understand the right path of the Imams of Ahlul-Bait and to comprehend the features of their school which contains the spirit of originality and motives.
The Qur’an singles out this term ‘Ahlul-Bait’ whereas the Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) specifies its confirmation. On one side, this entity is diagnosed after the passing of the Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) which was led to grow ideological and political allegiance for the family members of the Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) and on the other side, some confrontations and conflicts from different fronts and coalitions, in the arena of political life of the Muslim society, started to appear against them. Consequently, ideological, political and bloody war was waged against them. Therefore, the Imams: ‘Ali, Hasan and Husain and GaredensOfSunnah.co.uk 3
their off-springs became victims by such tragedies to this day to uphold the banner of Tawheed, Iman, Islam and Ihsan.
We beseech Allah (The Exalted) to aid and grant us success to accomplish this blessed duty with the Sadaqah of the Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), The Ahlul-Kisa, The Ahlul-Bait, and all those who love and follow them.
