6. THE EFFECT OF THE HOLY PROPHET’S

(Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam) SERMONS

Once Sayyiduna Zammad came to Makkatul Mukarrama and heard from the pagans that the Beloved Habbeb (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam) has gone insane. He called on Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam) and said: “I cure insanity.” The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam) delivered a speech that so much impressed him that he embraced Islam.

2 Usabah, reference: Sayyiduna Harith bin Abdul Uzza

Sayyidah Halima’s husband Harith bin Abdul Uzza came to Makkatul Mukarrama. The Quraish said to him: “Have you heard what your foster son says. He tells us that there is a life after death”. Sayyiduna Harith came to the Beloved Habbeb (Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam) and said: “Do you say this, my son?” Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sallallhu Alaihi Wassallam) said: “Let the day come and I will hold your hand and show you whatever I say is true”.

He immediately embraced Islam. He was so overwhelmed by the Holy Prophet (Sallallhu Alaihi Wassallam)’s words that he always repeated those words and said: “My son will hold my hand and take me to Paradise”. 2
